The Skuleberget Cable Car

Up to the top of the World Heritage High Coast!

Enjoy the views on your way up and/or down with the Skuleberget Cable Car. The ride takes about 20 minutes depending on the number of visitors. At the top, you’ll find Skuleberget’s Top Cabin, serving delicious food, coffee, and a full range of beverages, as well as the Top Kiosk, offering hearty sandwiches, pastries, and ice cream.

You can choose to combine your hike with the Skuleberget Cable Car or take a round trip. Our hosts and spacious platforms make getting on and off easy.

Opening Hours – Summer 2025

June 2 to August 31
Mon – Sun: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM 

Last ride up: 4:00 PM 
Last ride down: 4:45 PM 

Opening Hours – Autumn 2025

September: Sat – Sun, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM 
October: Saturdays, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

General Guidelines and Conditions

  • All visits to the cable car are subject to a fee. 
  • Children and youth are defined as ages 4–18. 
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. 
  • Family tickets/day passes include a maximum of two (2) adults and two (2) children/youth up to 18 years. 
  • A senior is defined according to the pension rules of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan). 
  • A student is defined as someone who can present a valid ID issued by CSN or equivalent. 
  • The round-trip ticket is valid for the same day and during the cable car’s opening hours.
